Swing Classes Opening

[May 13, 2008] --
The next round of the Team Routine class opens on Tuesday, May 13. We will re-visit the Stagger Lee Routine that we originally taught in late winter.

The cost of the class is $72. We invite our original "Stagger Lee" students to return for half price ($36). It's a good way to keep sharp, and you'll be a great influence on the new students.

On the same evening, we're also teaching a swing line dances class: we'll cover the Shim Sham, Jitterbug Stroll and more!

SwingEasies @ Sunrise

Spotlight on the Arts

Head Over Heels partnered with the Fairfax Spotlight On the Arts today to host a swing dance at the Old Town Hall in Fairfax.

Thank you, Joanna Ormesher, Laura Lister, Bertha Mclung, and the rest of the group at the Fairfax City and Parks & Rec departments for the opportunity to contribute to this annual festival!

We send our compliments to The Natty Beaux for putting on a great show - definitely one of the best bands in the area. Hopefully we can get on your schedule again soon!

Our dance event featured a performance by our dance group, the SwingEasies, and another by our performance dance class. We've posted photos and videos here.
